I am coming home

My name is John, and I’ve lived in Germany for 53 years.

I was born in Kitchener-Waterloo, Canada, but Germany has long been my home.

Music has been a constant part of my life since I was 12 years old. During the 1980s and '90s, I discovered my deep passion for film music — a genre that still moves and inspires me today.
Back then, I had the chance to pursue a professional career in the music industry, but life had other plans. Instead, I found my path in IT, which is how I earn my living today. Music and video, however, have remained a true passion — a creative outlet I dedicate my free time to.
Over the past two to three years, I’ve been exploring the world of artificial intelligence, especially in the areas of image and video generation. I also work with DaVinci Resolve Studio 20 to mix music and cinematic sequences.
Years ago, I started experimenting with real video footage, but professional equipment was so expensive at the time that I had to set it aside. Today, thanks to the “AI revolution,” I’m combining all my interests — music, video, and technology — to produce short films as a hobby. It’s incredibly rewarding to bring my creative visions to life, even outside the professional world.
